French artist, Gé Pellini, will join forces with NAPHA, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism and the FNCC in the fight against poaching!

Since the inception of the Namibia Professional Hunting Association (NAPHA) “Hunters United Against Poaching” program, remarkable success has been achieved in combatting poaching incidents in hunting concessions throughout Namibia.

The Rhino Project will host Gé Pellini, a French artist, who is not just an animal sculptor, or a naturalist, but also one who analyses the quintessence of his subjects. He will be sculpting in the finest marble, a heavy and inconvenient material, shaping the mighty rhinoceros in its own movements, enlarging the horns, drawing more flexible lines and eliminating the details. Artist Pellini will be sculpting at the FNCC from the 24th of July to the 24th of August, so the public is welcome to come through and watch the art in progress!

NAPHA will be joining forces with the Namibian and international conservation and hunting community by hosting a formal dinner and live auction on the 31st of August at the Windhoek Country Club Resort to raise funds towards further anti-poaching initiatives, auctioning the final marble sculpture of Gé Pellini.

Please invest in the future of our valuable wildlife by supporting this proven conservation and anti-poaching initiative!
