Since his debut in 2018 with the acclaimed single "Drowning in My Feelings," Y'Cliff has become one of Namibia's leading voices in contemporary R&B and soul. His music blends R&B, jazz, soul, and contemporary influences into songs that are both deeply personal and universally relatable.

His debut single earned a nomination for Song of the Year at the 2019 Namibian Annual Music Awards and reached the top of the BASE FM Official Top 10 chart. He followed this success with "Namibian Queen," which received nominations for Song of the Year and Best Single at the 2020 NAMAs while once again topping the charts.
