FRENCH TEACHERS NEEDED!

The Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre, cultural hub of the Namibian capital, is recruiting 2 French teachers to reinforce its team of teachers!

Job description :

We are in need of experienced and qualified French teachers able to teach group, private and conversation classes for various ages (from pre-primary to adults) and levels (from A1 to C2). In-person or/and online.

The teachers should be able to teach French as a Foreign Language and/or French for Specific Purposes. (e.g. French for Defence Forces, French for Diplomats, French for Tourism,...).

The teachers will have to take part in the three DELF sessions organised throughout the year, (oral examination, supervision or correction).

Required qualifications :

• -  Degree in teaching French as a Foreign language

• -  Proven experience in teaching French as a foreign language and/orFrench for

  Specific Purposes

• -  DELF / DALF / TCF habilitation

• -  Knowledge regarding the CECRL and the DELF/DALF exams

• -  Fluent in French (minimum B2 level, assessed by an ocial exam) and in English

  Skills :

• -  Dynamic and willing to take initiative.

• -  Autonomous and responsible.

• -  Good interpersonal and intercultural skills;

• -  Good command of teaching tools and adapted to the target audience.

• -  Proven pedagogical skills.
