A Jazz Concert paying tribute to Franco Luambo
Franco Luambo (1938 – 1989), known for his mastery of rumba, is one of the originators of the modern Congolese sound. He reinvented the Soukous, giving birth to the Ndombolo genre. He was also nicknamed the “Sorcerer of the Guitar” for his seemingly effortless fluid playing.
